What to do when the practice is closed

What to do when the practice is closed:

  •  If you need urgent advice whilst the practice is closed please telephone 0115 942 4352 and your call will be diverted to the out of hours GP service.
  •  Please call ‘111’ if you urgently need medical help or advice but it’s not a life-threatening situation.
  •  For immediate, life-threatening emergencies, continue to call ‘999’ ·
  • The Urgent Care Centre provides access to assessment and treatment if you need help with a health problem that is urgent, but not life-threatening eg Minor burns or scalds, Minor head injury with no loss of consciousness, Skin infections or animal bites, Suspected broken bones, sprains and strains (X-ray service available), Eye infections or minor eye injuries. The Urgent Care Centre is open 7am – 9pm 365 days a year, and on London Road (next to the BC)
