The Fairfields Practice

GP Appointments

For immediate, life-threatening emergencies, whatever the time, always call 999.

Please complete an online request for GP appointment for any routine, non-urgent medical problem. Your request will be reviewed within 2 working days and you will hear back from the practice by phone or text.

The online request service will be turned on at 8:00am (Monday-Friday, excluding bank holidays) and will be switched off once all our available GP appointments are filled and we have reached capacity for the day. It is important that we are able to do this so that we can still respond to medically urgent problems, and to maintain safe practice. Please note your routine appointment may be several weeks in advance.

If you have an urgent medical problem, please contact the reception by phone on 0115 942 4352. Please note the receptionist will ask for a brief description of the urgent medical problem.

For routine practice nurse, Healthcare assistant (HCA) appointments (Smears, immunisations, long term conditions review etc) or appointments with a First Contact Physiotherapist (Musculoskeletal conditions), Social Prescriber or Clinical Pharmacist please ring reception on 0115 9424352
