Easter Bank Holiday 2026 – Opening Times
Please note that the Fairfields Practice will be closed from Friday 3rd April 2026 to Monday 6th April 2026. We will reopen as usual on Tuesday 7th April at 8:00am.

When the practice is closed
- Please call ‘111’ if you urgently need medical help or advice but it’s not a life-threatening situation. NHS 111 is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Calls are free from landlines and mobile phones. Your call to ‘111’ will be triaged and may be directed to experienced nurses and GPs working from Nottingham emergency medical service (NEMS)
- For immediate, life-threatening emergencies, continue to call ‘999’
- The NHS Urgent Care Centre on London Road (next to the BBC). It is a nurse lead service and is open every day from 7am-9pm for injuries (including suspected broken bones or sprains / minor burns or scald / cut that might need stiches / eye problem / infections / or mild to moderate breathing difficulties)
- Your local pharmacy can also offer a range of services, including advice and medicines to relieve symptoms of minor ailments.
