As part of ongoing efforts to manage healthcare resources, Nottingham Integrated Care Board has highlighted the substantial costs associated with SMS messaging. In response, all practices have been asked to regularly review and streamline their use of text messaging services.
Following this guidance, we will be discontinuing some routine acknowledgement messages, including confirmations for:
- Repeat prescription requests
- Sick note requests
